Frederick has been recognized as one of the best in the legal search field for over fifteen years. Mr. Shelton has been contracted to fill positions throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Although he has primarily focused on Intellectual Property, he has also worked with Litigation, Corporate (including finance), Energy and Bankruptcy attorneys. He has successfully completed searches for General Counsel, Partners, Associates, Legal Counsel and Paralegals. Frederick has also coordinated the acquisition of groups and law firm mergers.
Mr. Shelton has been the Business and Marketing Director of a Patent Boutique, as well as the Director of Business Development for a General Practice Firm.
This understanding of the legal field has helped him tremendously with his recruiting practice. During his fifteen years in legal search, Frederick has had a retention rate of over 95%, after two-years from start date. He has the proven ability to identify key corporate, firm and departmental, cultural considerations which enable him to find the candidate who can not only do the job, but who will thrive in the environment the client has to offer.

Frederick proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He has his bachelor's degree in theology. He has received awards and recognition for his contribution to his field and his community. He has volunteered at both homeless shelters and teen-runaway centers.
Frederick lives in Houston with his wife and daughter.
